Sometimes I have occasion to be a little faster than VTP at updating an application. (Especially as I get used to doing things on its schedule.) Can you add the ability to recheck/update a single item?, so I don't have to rescan the entire disk.
Since Get Finder Info is Shift+Command+I, perhaps Reveal in Finder should be Shift+Command+R; that would leave Command+R for Recheck Item.

I would like a manual recheck of some sort too. Often I install an update manually, prompted by VersionTracker, and I want to get VersionTracker to note the change. Sometimes just so that the Version Tracker info is up to date, sometimes because I am working through a number of items in VT and want to keep track. One possibility is that Get Finder Info and/or Reveal in Finder could also update Version Trackers cache of the version number.
