Just downloaded 7.01. I didn't believe that anything could be worse than the original Canon scanner software, but this probably is. Since I installed it, it's taken me at least three goes to scan anything I've put in. The menus don't work. Saving is a nightmare.

For a company which produces brilliant consumer products (cameras and printers), this is the most appalling user-hostile pile of rubbish that I've ever encountered. (And I write as someone who's used Microsoft software!)

To treat paying customers in such a contemptuous fashion with this kind of stuff is just not acceptable. I am henceforth an EX-Canon customer
