I could never get the "rev A" version to work, so I was excited to see the release of "rev B". A quick download/install/repair of permission get me nuthin... As soon as I launch the palm app, it responds with an "unexpected end of file" message then quits. This is the EXACT same problem I had under the old revision, so again my G5 and Palm T3 till can't talk to each other.

Flat out doesn't work - Keith Sanborn

I'm getting the same problem.

Before using the repair iSynch permissions fix, I couldn't get any version to install.

Before "upgrading" to 4.2.1b, I had had the 4.2.1a version working fine!!!Then I installed the 4.2.1b and everything went to hell in a handbasket.

I wiped out all traces of "palm" anywhere on my drive; then, I ran the permissions repair and downgraded back to version 4.0 of the Palm Desktop for use with my Visor Pro as per the advice of the Palm Support Site.

Now, I can see my old data but every time I try to alter or erase something I get a series of "unexpected end of file" messages, which I click to acknowledge. At the last one (about 3 or 4 in) Palm Desktop crashes.

I'm running 10.3.9 on a Tibook 800 with 1 gig of ram, but only 2 gigs of storage left on the boot drive and have frequently run disk warrior on the drive and repaired permissions before and after every install.

Did you ever solve this problem??
