Coincidence or payback?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: greggx4 Friday, June 24 2005 @ 07:35 AM PDT

Product Platform:

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Within hours of posting to versiontracker.com that SpamX HAS NOT changed the amount of spam I get after more than 6 months of use, my registration to SpamX stopped working. When SpamX phones home to check the registration, I am not recognized. I filed a ticket with the tech support system being used by hsc Software. A day later, I posted my issue on their support forum. I have gotten no response from anyone, and I have seen the developer responding to other questions, so he is not on vacation, which was my original thought.

My configuration never changed, The version of SpamX I was using never changed, only the reply from Hendrickson Software changed- and that means I am being stopped from using the software I paid for.

Coincidence? or payback?

I'm hoping it is the former...

Use more tinfoil - jules771

I'm sure it was the CIA behind it. You probably just forgot to wear your tinfoil hat while you were at your computer

Coincidence or payback? - tabaks

Aside from those two tinfoil wingnuts above, I tend to agree with the poster. They probably DID turn you off. After all, they REGULARLY post five-star comments under false names to this (their own) comment section. DON'T buy this product!
