Do we really need this on tiger?

Apple includes several Audio Units in Mac OS X, including [...] a matched pair to stream audio over a network.http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/coreaudio/

.

OK, no VST ;-)

Get Tiger - Tom S.

Indeed! I've just had a look at those "AudioUnit Effects" of Tiger by adding them to Audio Hijack Pro's effects section. They're called "AUNetSend" and "AUNetReceive". One can choose between several different data formats like 16/24 Bit integer PCM, 16/24 Bit Apple Lossless, AAC, u-Law etc. The plug-ins are Bonjour "capable" and the default port is 52800. Cool!
