Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

lost me an item (which would have been a great buy) due to "unknown error". I suggest a little more work before release. I appreciate the fact that this is a free app, but nevertheless, people should be able to rely on it.

Unknown Error - Leemac

An unknown error could be an error generated on the SERVER end. There is little a CLIENT developer can do to address this. Even if the error is "known", if the error is generated, and prevents a last second snipe, that is the price you pay for playing the snipe game. Heck, I've had "unknown error" problems during everyday, routine bidding and if I compress it to where 1000 people are submitting bids in a 2 second time-slot, I'm asking for errors of every possible order.

Your complaint may be with the eBay server, so why are you so hard on the developer of this client? There is no perfect method....and if there were, why haven't YOU written it?
