This seems like it would be a good idea but due to a convoluted interface with multiple windows and cryptic abbreviations, it is almost totally baffling.
This app needs to be simplified and the price should be halved.

re: Baffling - bupkis
I'm sorry to see you get defensive about it. Yes, I read all the helpfiles but I do not agree with you (and I'm your target customer if anyone is). The logic of the two windows is not at all obvious and the abbreviations are cryptic enough that one has to keep the help page that deciphers them open at all times. What's more, the little icons that are meant to characterize the types of players one is facing are too small (and, again, cryptic) to be understood. This could be a good app, but the interface needs a complete overhaul.

I'm just suggesting that you use the free trial to play with the application. After a while the abbreviations and player icons will become second-nature to you. I'll continue to make improvements, especially in the "ease of use" area so don't give up on it yet!Tuesday, June 21 2005 @ 07:06 AM PDT

Have you looked at the help files?http://www.openendsoftware.com/macpokerpro/gettingStarted.html
There are really only two windows, if you explore them you will find it is not that difficult to navigate. All of the "cryptic abbreviations" are described in the help files, and also in Tool Tips (hover over the data cells, not the header cells).
I realize it is a complex application. If you have any specific suggestions on how it can be simplified or improved, I'm eager to make those changes.
