here are the reasons:
1. free, no spyware, and no adware
2. better downloads(speeds are better than aquisition and lime ware)
3. NO NAG SCREEN (buy me, buy me)
4. Ah, My whole computer doesn't lock up forcing a restart which causes all the downloads to go bye bye.
5. see number 1 reason
So the interface isn't that great big deal. Oh yeah its free which enables you to get free stuff. HELLO.
I haven't used this version 0.4.1 yet but if its like the others then it will be great.

Cabos is the Acquisition killer - APGiuliano
Opinions are like elbows Butz, most of us have them... If you think he or you or I can persuade or dissuade someone from using this or any other P2P program, then more power to us...Monday, June 20 2005 @ 12:32 PM PDT

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to dissuade anyone. I use this app myself. I just can't stand overzealous reviews.Monday, June 20 2005 @ 10:48 PM PDT

So you're giving a perfect rating to an application with an absolutely horrendous interface just to spite another application? It's nonsense. This is a 2 or 3 star app at this point. It does download much more quickly and reliably than Acquisition and seems to use a lot less system resources but let's pretend you had never used Acq before, would you still be giving Cabos a perfect score or would you be holding out those last couple of stars for a version where your filter applies only to the search you create it for and where the prefs look like prefs and where the toolbar works like an OSX toolbar? I'm sure this stuff is coming in a future release but until then there is no explanation for this app getting a 5 star rating.Reply to This
