doesn´t work with tiger anymore :-( - Gwyneth Llewelyn

Sadly, the same happens to me... does anyone know about a fix? I can't find anything at their site (they just support their shareware versions, even in the forums). Thanks!

you can install the bsd subsystem from your tiger install disc - choose custom install and make sure you select bsd.

apple says reinstalling tiger will not overwrite your preferences or data. but i would do soe serious backus first.

now if your like me you have to find your tiger install disc... who did you last loan it too? ;-) did they more to a far away country with it still in their latop?

fyi - apple doesn't seem to want to give, copy or sell replacement dvd's.

good luck!

1) You can install BSD from your Tiger install disc, but not from custom install, because BSD is always installed with Tiger.

2) You can install BSD by launching /System/Installation/Packages/BSD.pkg on the Tiger install disc.

3) However, none of this makes forty-two happy, It still insists "you must install the BSD."

Forty-two is just broken.
