Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

This utility has come a long way in a relatively short time! I just tested EnScrypt with 4kb, 15kb and 64kb text-only emails. Encryption and decryption were speedy and trouble-free. You now have the option of saving a copy of the encrypted email before sending.

One suggestion I have for this utility--well really, it's an application now and a module in it can encrypt and decrypt text in other applications now. Will it be possible to take a decrypted email that I've received and have it show up in the Mail.app inbox like just a normal email? As things stand now, Enscrypt takes the decrypted text and displays in TextEdit.

Enscrypt jumps two stars up from my previous review.

Thanks for the stars.

Messages in the Inbox can not be altered either manually or with a script. This feature of Mail (and of all other email programs) is for our own protection.

The naming system for messages in the EnScryptÆ’ folder could stand for some improvement. Right now it's hard to find things. Anyway, that's the next thing on the to-do list.
