Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

You can get the same functionality by entering one command in the terminal. Paying ten pounds for that is absurd.
This program: http://www.macosxscreensaver.com/screensaver_background.php does exactly the same, and is freeware.

(Note: I'm not affiliated with either product. Not promoting anything, just making you aware of alternatives.)

How does one learn Terminal Programming... - coracle

There is a wealth of very helpful information on the internet which will help you learn all kinds programming. You should find loads if you search for lists of UNIX and / or Terminal command lines. There are also some great books available, and quite a few online tech and developer forums you might like to join too. :o)

Thank you for taking the time to comment, we do value every opinion. You will be pleased to know that there may come a time where the author of Hyperon chooses to make it Freeware, however, for the time being the choice has been made to make a small charge for a full version. The whole point of Hyperon is that you don't need to know any command lines, nor do you need to know what a Terminal is, Hyperon does it all for you! We are aware of many similar products to Hyperon, and we feel that those that wish to benefit from continued developement of Hyperon, and the professional support that comes with a purchased license, would not feel it unreasonable that the author cover any costs of development and marketing. It is worth noting that there are many well known applications available in the High Street, whilst a developer or group of developers have provided a Freeware version somewhere else. If you only want free software, I am sure the alternatives will suffice! Thanks again.
