Seems a tad bit pricey, but there's some interesting tools there. What I *would* pay $50 for is a program that goes through my iTunes playlist and analyzes each song to make them all the same volume. There's an app that does it in iTunes on the fly, but nothing for the iPod and the volume check built into the iPod hardly works with low volume intros, etc. With CD imports and even songs both downloaded through the iTMS, volume levels are never the same and are a hassle to "get ready to grab the volume control" in the car. If you guys can make an app that will equalize all my song volumes for my iPod, I'll be the first to throw $50 at ya.

Have you tried iVolume?

Seems to do what you want (even adjusts volumes for the buggy iPod firmware). Doesn't work on protected AAC files, but has worked perfectly for me on everything else...

Well, hello. Seems I've been searching with the wrong keywords all this time. Thanks for the tip. This (with the exception of the protected AAC) is exactly what i've been wanting and only $7! Bless you! No more nervous moments in the car between songs getting ready to grab the volume knob to keep my speakers from blowing out! =D
