McAfee lists the following requirements for Virex 7.6 on it's web site:
Apple Mac OS X v10.2.6 (Jaguar) or later, Mac OS X v10.3.3 (Panther) or later.
There is no mention of Tiger [or Leopard, for that matter :-) ].
The "Buy Now" link for Virex 7.6 leads to Digital River, but clicking on it gives a "Web Server Error. We're Sorry"
There is a link here (http://www.mcafeesecurity.com/us/products/mcafee/antivirus/desktop/virex.htm), where you can download a PDF Virex 7.6 Data Sheet (on the upper right side of page). In typical McAfee/NAI fashion, the data sheet seems to be a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma (with apologies to Winston Churchill).
Again, be happy that with Mac OS X, there is no real need for the hourly (!) DAT updates discussed by McAfee for Windows users.

Apple site is not very optimistic. See:http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301525
Bascially, if you have Virex from the .Mac site for 10.3, forget it for 10.4.

There is also a "buy now" link on the McAfee web site. It indicates pricing of $40.21 each with package pricing for a minimum of 5 licenses.Could the Digital River link mentioned earlier (currently not working) be for a single user purchase?
