I've never seen a software with so many updates in all my life. As soon as you install one bug fix version another version is on VT. Just look at the pool-down tab on Version Tracker and see all the different versions and dates. And you call this "Commercial" software? Don't make me laugh. I guess if you enjoy downloading updates, then VueScan is the software for you.

Should Not Be "Commercial" software. - paganbiker

Should not be listed as "freeware" by Versiontracker either. Call it "trialware" or "demoware", but if it isn't free it isn't "freeware". Get it, Versiontracker?

Plain and Simple. This product does NOT get updated almost daily due to new scanners coming on the market constantly.

It gets updated almost daily to block the slew of suspect serial numbers in mass circulation for this fine product.

My only critisicm of the software is it forgets occasionally whether you wish to save in JPG or TIFF - and forgets the 'rotate' options etc in advanced scanning prefs.

Get these problems sorted first - before releasing "another" update that does NOTHING but block another 3/4 dodgy serial keys.
