NetBarrier also has a "phone home blocker" integrated.

Disabling NB fixes the issue, too.

Do they share the same code library?

I'm also experiencing this problem. Now I know Little Snitch is the culprit. As you mentioned, disabling LS fixes the issue.

I had to remove Little Snitch to prevent the corruption. Just turning off did not prevent the whole problem.
