After all the hype about next generation graphics etc it was a big let down.

I got bored with groping about in dark rooms looking for items so I could get on with the action. I dont see that the graphics are anything special but it is horribly slow (OK so they recommend 1.5Ghxz nd I am using 1Ghz but only at 640 x 480 resolution).

I happend to be revisiting Quake 2, a very old game, when I got Doom 3 and I honestly think Quake 2 is a much better game in almost every respect. while Unreal tournament is light years ahead.
