All nightly builds are dangerous. Anyone downloading nightly builds do so at their own risk. FireFix will handle the files you tell it to download in the nightly URL. So if you don't want to download DeerPark, then don't use FireFix or stick to the Firefox folders. FireFix will handle either one. It's your choice.

Finally, all that FireFix does is download a build that's available for download on the web. It's a matter of convenience, not some secret builds that no one should access.

Yes, all nightly builds are 'dangerous'. But- this no longer dl's Firefox, but Deer Park. Might a renaming be in order? When I fired this up and I got a DeerPark volume on my desktop, I had no idea where that came from.

Well, morbius, I guess it's hard to please everyone... DeerPark will not exist for very long and I don't have the time and energy to support multiple apps. But feel free to rename FireFix to DeerFix or whatever. It's simple enough to do that in the Finder.

So, anyone actually using Deer Park? And what the hell is that all about?

Yeah, I did rename it myself, in the Finder, since it _has nothing to do with Firefox any bloody more_!

Deer Park = Firefox 1.1 - ryandesign

Of course it still has something to do with Firefox -- Deer Park will be Firefox 1.1. RTFM: "Deer Park Alpha 1 is not an official mozilla.org final release, it has been made available for testing purposes only, with no end-user support. If that sounds scary, you'd probably be better off with [Firefox 1.0.4]."
