It may just be that this program matches the way my brains wants to organize my photos. But it has been vastly preferable to iPhoto and iView for me.

I almost gave up, because it takes a while to get the hang of all the categories (create your own) and how to use aliases, but once I got it, it became quite fun--and the end result is really excellent organization.

Spend an hour using it and see if doesn't suddenly sort of click into place for you.

I have had some random crashes, but no data was lost, so no big deal. I do agree with other comments that the "pro" price is way too high. I paid for the junior version, and don't know what I'll do if I reach that 10,000 photo point.
