Maybe it's just me, but for myself and the monitor I work on, it would be better if it was slightly larger. At 1920x1200 it's easy to click on the wrong color. But this could be handy...

Yes, on a larger monitor, it's probably too small to be very useful. I made it the size I did because widgets compete so fiercely for screen real estate that I thought it was more likely to be used if it didn't take up too much. Perhaps in a future version I'll make it stretchie?
