Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

On a brand new G5, SpamSieve, after a certain amount of deduction thnking, turned out to be the program that didn't allow internet access, servere access, etc...Forced to reinstall the old system software. Use on a G4 with ease. but the G5 has been frightening.

Not Caused by SpamSieve - michaeltsai

Several hours after posting the review on VT, Randy contacted me for the first time and provided a few details. Since the problem did not start when he first installed SpamSieve, and it did not go away when he removed every trace of it from his computer, I do not think it is correct to deduce that SpamSieve is the cause of his computer's network problems. Furthermore, I don't think it's possible for OS X application that never modifies files outside of the home folder (and, indeed, never asks for an administrative password) to have the effect he describes. There must be something else going on with his machine.

The Tempermental G5 - thecragus

I have a new G5 2.7 running 10.4.1 and have had NO problems with this great product. Much better than the built in Junk filter in Mail.
