Yes msn has finally screwed us over, when I tried to log in to my hotmail account using mail I got this message
"Could not connect to 'Hotmail'
Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription. Please sign up at http://upgrade.msn.com"

This was really a great program and worked fast and easily but there is no way to use it anymore. Such a shame, I really feel sorry for the developer and all of the users. Looks like I might have to find another free mail server for junk email.

What do you mean: "This was really a great program"? It still is! If you really thought it was great to access your HoTMaiL via Mail.app you would pay the not very large amount needed to have an account. If you don't or can't the loss is yours, but don't say that httpmail WAS great or that it "does not work any more" when you mean that it does not work for free any more!
