Thanks for the new instructions! I *think I have it installed correctly, now.
But I can't tell if it's working! When I switch the CPU setting, it doesn't get updated in Energy Saver. And when I switch the CPU in Energy Saver, it doesn't update in Min-o-Max until I quit and re-start it.

Can't tell if it's working - Mahko_Monkey
It is *not updating the System Prefs, so I guess something is wrong with how I did it.I'll look forward to the version for Terminal dummies like me ;)
I can't wait to have this working-- it's so annoying having to open the System Prefs to do it!
I appreciate your work, and thanks for your responses :)

min-o-max does not need a correct entry in the sudoers to check the current status because the use of the command "pmset -g" (to get informations about the system power preferences) requires no password. So that should work anyway. Have you changed the preferences of min-o-max to "At the beginning and once per interval" and gave it an interval like for example every 2 seconds? Otherwise min-o-max checks the status just once while starting. If you change the status in min-o-max you should see the change in energy saver immediatly (immedietly?). If not, something is wrong. I am actually working on a version 2.0 that gives you options to change the sudoers right out of the application itself. Look for updates in about one week.
I am sorry for the trouble, the publish date of min-o-max was way too early. But it will become better and more user friendly soon.
