Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

Try a hack to change the Enter key at http://www.snark.de/index.cgi/0007. It worked on my Titanium PowerBook G4 after I ran Repair Privileges, but as Shane notes, this tip works for ADB internal keyboard on older PowerBooks, but will probably not work for newer USB-based internal keyboards on PowerBooks and iBooks.

If you follow Heiko's steps at that link, you MAY still need to run Disk Utility and run Repair Privileges to get it to load.

I am Very Happy Now. That was one of the last Tiger-related fixes I've been waiting for to get my machine to feel like home again after the 10.4 upgrade.

MANY MANY MANY thanks to Shane at gnufoo.org for maintaining uControl for several years(?) and to Heiko at snark.de for the handy tip linked above.
