First, I've been using PGP since 1.0 with reasonable success. So I consider myself reasonably literate on this subject.
Purchased PGP 9.0 (full price) in anticipation of Tiger (not yet, but soon to be installed). Had to contact them multiple times before they finally got my license to me (via e-mail).
Install went smoothly.
Key management seems good as usual.
MISSING: Drag'n drop support appears to be gone. There's not palette to drop into. I suppose this is because the peecee's don't have it.
In the Mail tool, the DECRYPT button complains on ALL encrypted e-mails I try to decrypt. Worked fine in the previous version. Complains about a format problem in this version. This is true for both OLD and NEW messages.s
WORKAROUND: Use GNUpg and scripts. Messy, but works.
PGPdisk continues to work.
The new mail interception thing didn't work at all. In fact it shut down my incoming e-mail until I figured out how to turn it off and remove it from all the accounts. DANGEROUS and apparently buggy.
SUPPORT: None unless you want to pay exhorbitant prices. They don't even have an effective forum to my way of thinking. Really leaves me with a sour taste.
OVERALL: I am saddened by the current state of this software. I hope they will wake up an fix the bugs and support their supporters. I reluctantly recommend this product because I like PGPdisk.
