QuickTime 7 problems anyone??

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I have found a very interesting problem with both this and the previous driver and QuickTime 7 - specifically browser support. I do a lot of training movies that I post to the web for my users and I have found that when you embed a QT movie when you go to watch it, the sound doesn't come through. If I shove the sound through Core Audio (which I am now doing) I don't have this problem.

The movies play fine by themselves if you download the movies to your desktop, but if you play them in the browser, no go. Is anyone else having this issue? I think this is really something that they should look at. I have since uninstalled both the drivers and the hardware. I concur that until M-Audio gets their act together with this card (which has been pretty problematic from the get go) I am not going to recommend this to anyone. Too bad too, because it was a great card in theory.

1.4.1_beta - artherstrasse

Has anyone tried the 1.4.1_beta driver (Sept 1, 2005)? Starting to look like people are abandoning M-Audio based on the zero amount of feedback since the beta driver release.

I'm waiting on M-Audio before I bother updating to Tiger. Or, any cards that work (please don't suggest any USB or FW devices)?
