No matter what I do, it doesn't seem to update my Office 1004 to 11.1.1. I am currently using 11.1.0, and I repaired permissions and restarted, and each time it still says I am on 11.1.0 even when it says that 'Installation Successful'.
What could be the problem?
Microsoft Office 2004
Entourage, PowerPoint, Excel, Word suite.

does it give the old version number in the 'splash screen' or the 'about Word' screen, or just in the Finder.The reason I ask is that the Finder sometimes fails to reflect small increment versions (same with Acrobat reader, even if you have Reader 7.0.2, the Finder still says it's 7.0).
However, once in the application, in this case Word, you should see the correct version number.
This does happen, and is usually not symptomatic of anything wrong...
