Yes, this fixed my Xounds 10.4 "problem", but I also still have a lag in Fruit/Apple Menu dropping down. Not a loooong delay, but enough to notice, and not all the time, just on occasion - seems when I haven't accessed the 'menu' in a while.

Xounds Fixed, but - graffix

The Fruitmenu delay is an annoying problem, but I don't think that it has anything to do with the APE framework itself. I believe it has to do with the way FruitMenu caches its submenus, and each time you newly launch an application (and it's the 'forward' application), FruitMenu has to recache, which is what causes the delay.
Once it's been cached for a certain application, it works instantly each time you access it when that application is forward, until you quit and relaunch the app. This is one 'bug' I wish they'd fix, since I'm tired of seeing the spinning beachball each time I access the Apple menu the first time after an application is launched.
