Not until I tried to send a message did I learn that I would need to purchase "credits" to send a message. A bit deceptive if you ask me...

Reasonable comment. I've therefore edited the description here on VT to emphasise that fact more. Certainly no deception intended: indeed if you go to our product homepage you will see plenty of references to the message costs.
