When I see 'local' I assume that there will be a setting I can change to mkae this local to me. This widget doesn't have that. Disappointing.

Um, when I read "local", the immediate assumption is that it's local to me. I understand it's all based on the data source this developer is using, but it's a legitimate complaint. There should be some indicator in the description that explains what the developer's idea of local really is.

No, it's not versiontracker.co.uk. Nor is it versiontracker.usa. On one hand it's symptomatic of a perceived arrogance that seems to pervade US thinking - that the rest of the world is just an adjunct to the United States.

On the other hand, rather than just whining and moaning about it, why not write your own UK-based widget, or suggest to the developer that he/she might have a go at developing one. You never know, a little courtesy might go a long way. Anyway, it's better that the developer creates something of use to some people that doesn't bother at all.
