I've been using Powermail for around 3 years now and find that it's extremely stable. The interface is clear and intuitive and not cluttered like other programs (Apple Mail and Eudora, e.g.). Filters work well, and it does all that one would expect from an email client. The program is robust and straightforward. It's a great application.
The issues others have here make no sense. Everything is well documented. There is help here: http://www.ctmdev.com/lists_requests.html. And also here: http://home.hpo.net/timm/PowerMailFAQ.html. And here: http://www.ctmdev.com/faq.html. And here: http://www.ctmdev.com/documentation/manual.html. What more do you want?
This program works and does the job very well --and that's one of the reasons it's so highly rated by the media.
