I'm not sure if this works or not. I don't notice any change and I follow the read me each time. Safari and it's Java is the ONLY browser that works with USPS.com using Click-N-Ship. Well OK, so does Shiira & iSurf, but they are the same as Safari just faster. I've been hoping for a long time now that this would let me buy and print out shipping labels using FireFox or Camino, but it still doesn't get it.

I complained to USPS.com about a year ago. Thanks for the info.Monday, May 23 2005 @ 11:13 PM PDT

Huh? I have the opposite problem: Safari is the only browser I have that will NOT work with the USPS label printing. IE and Netscape work fine with it. I have to open my Activity window in Safari and open the PDF it creates from there, otherwise I get nothing printed from using their print controls on the web site.Tuesday, September 20 2005 @ 10:45 AM PDT

Weird. For me, I can ONLY print labels using IE. Netscape, Safari and Firefox don't work at all. Even with IE, I have to save the file to disk, remove a ridiculous suffix so that .pdf is the remaining suffix, then open with Adobe. I'm using 10.4.3, and the most recent versions of each browser.Friday, November 11 2005 @ 06:18 AM PST

Here is what I read on the USPS website today in their FAQs.What should I do if my labels don't print when I have a Mac Version 10.4X?
If you are on a Mac Version 10.4, your Safari Browser will not work at this time due to a technical issue with Adobe V 7.0. Please use Internet Explorer. Make sure your file association is Adobe Reader and not Apple Preview.

The USPS applet is designed to only work in Safari on the Mac and has nothing to do with the plugin (or the browser)'s abilities. Complain to USPS to stop hard-coding their applet to only work in Safari (I did); the more who do so, the better.Reply to This
