Old versions available?

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: Philipz Saturday, May 21 2005 @ 02:35 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I bought this one for my dad when it was still pre version 2. I didn't update because it didn't feel it was necessary, and updates were free anyway so I could do it whenever I wanted. Apparently a new 'feature' is that pre-V2 users can't upgrade anymore :( :( :(
Is there a place where we can download old versions that still work with a pre-v2 code?

Thx,

Philip

Old versions available? - hallan

Hi. Mah Jong Solitaire comes in types, MJS1, the original game, and MJS2, the fancy new OpenGL one.

The old one is at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/17874

When you bought the old game for $8.5, we gave away the new game MJS2 with a year of updates: V1.00 to V2.00. So you got a $14.95 game for free with the old game.

The year is up now, so MJS2 is no longer given away for free with MJS1.

MJS1 codes start with a number, MJS2 codes start with a letter.

So with MJS1 registration for $8.5 you got:
MJS1 with free updates forever
MJS2 with updates from V1.00 to V2.00
Mac Invaders (an old os9 game)

The archive of old versions is at http://www.bhprojects.com/archive/
