Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

Works fine at home, although syncing is a mess now, what use to be a click of a button for my computers, cell and iPod is now 3 steps.

At work we are still using some old computers as servers, Apple has dropped AFP Protocol from Tiger so that leaves us out. Thanks Apple. I know there are some steps you can take but our IT department can care less, forget about it if you are in school, most students will not be able to update to Tiger because of the same issues, great move.

Fine at home but useless at work - rspress

Uh, if they dropped the AFP protocol then why is it updated in the 10.4.1 release? Check Personal File Sharing, it still uses the AFP protocol. If you are having problems with it I suspect you are either doing something wrong or you need to do better maintenance on you machines. You might want to repair your disk, repair permissions and if all else fails trash the relevant plist files.

I hope you are not with the IT department.
