...and the default font isn't monospaced. what an abomination. and lots of little windows all over the place. at least xchat keeps things organised in one window, with simple tabs at the bottom...oh yeah, and this has EMOTICONS. just....wow. way to turn IRC into AOL; this joins ms comic chat in the irc client hall of shame.
