THis could be a false alarm...

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Spotlight slowed to a crawl after running this app on two machines. I reset and reindexed. Ran Tiger cache cleaner again and same thing.

Anyone else seeing this? I'm wondering if cleaning the caches or possible prebinding is somehow screwing up spotlight's data/index.

It could be a coincidence. Just curious if anyone is noticing this.

on my system (PB 15" 2004, 10.4) there never was any noticeable slowdown w/ TCC 1.1.2 - 1.1.4. Did you try AppleJack (newest version, still donationware) and/or DiskWarrior 3.0.3? Sometimes running multiple system utils can do more than a single fix attempt.

No such problem here, on my G5/1.8SP.
