I requested twice a demonstration license code for this product because it sounds like something I could use and buy. Many of the functions seem to be disabled for lack of a code. The developer has not responded!

You need to request a demo license code in order to use the software. Either
- click the internet shortcut on the downloaded disk image (for release versions)
- follow the instructions inside the app as soon as it starts
- go there directly: http://www.fotomagico.com/demo/
