However, This is not a problem if you turn 'auto run safe files' off. Auto executing anything on download is a prelude to vulnerabilities like this so its just best to not do it at all.

Note that SIMBL extensions can mess with other webcore browsers like omniweb.

Nice of the developer to provide this - Elixir

This will only patch Safari 1.2.4 (v125.12) and nothing else. So it will not affect omniweb or other apps.
