Also resolves an issue where you can no longer burn a CD with protected ACC files bought from 'The Store'. Here's a tip, don't upgrade. Software does not always need to be upgraded/patched as soon as a company releases a new version/upgrade/patch whatever. If what you have works and does what you want it to do then don't touch it.

So what this all comes down to then is that the change was made to fix an unintentional feature in Toast that circumvented the DRM of AAC/iTunes.There's a reason why we are only allowed to burn 7 copies of a playlist.

You mean burn Audio CDs?, big deal, can do that from iTunes, AND I can duplicate that CD with Toast if needed (but I don't do that). I just burned a data CD full of songs purchased from iTunes without problem.To be honest, I make Audio CDs of every album or song purchased from iTunes, just in case. I don't see any reason to use Toast for that.

What is the difference in burning via Toast or iTunes? iTunes is certainly more convienent isn't it? Why would anyone want to burn in Toast. Just seems like more steps. Maybe I'm missing something?Reply to This
