I can relate to us being frustrated about limitations in how we decide to backup, or burn purchased music (whether from Apple MS or whatever). I read alot about how delicate the whole idea is everyday. When Apple cut a deal with the "music industry" and got the green light to allow people to purchase music on line, it was a real achievement, and such a new concept that many modifications would be sure to follow. All entertainment companies are freaking out aout pirated movies, music, games, Etc. I am SURE Apple would let us do pretty much what we want with the content. I think that the industry is putting more and more pressure on Apple to (at least try) and make it harder to redistribute the purchased music.
As for Toast. Great product! Been using it for years.

i agree with you about toast, but i am sure apple wouldn't think twice in prosecuting any developer who messes with their fairplay protection. examples are abound.Reply to This
