I really think if, at the last moment, the developer finds something wrong with their software, versiontracker should pull the update until a stable version is available. Or is it a server problem? No clue...all the site says is “not available.” why waste our time?

I know this is an old post, but just to clarify, to the best of my memory we did not "find something wrong" with File Buddy 8.1.4 or remove it prior to the release of 8.1.5. We don't control the links here, so I don't know what the problem was. That said, Version Tracker cannot really "pull the update." As I understand it, they maintain a single link to a disk image on a server where we host skytag.com. Some changes in our web hosting last year may have resulted in some problems for a short time for links to our site, but any problem should have been very temporary and we apologize for any inconvenience. If you experience a problem, please contact us. VersionTracker is not a support channel for any software company. Comments posted here may not be read for months, so if you want problems addressed, it's really in your best interest to contact the developer.
