When is Apple going to release a significant update to iTunes? Where's true gapless playback (on iTunes and iPod)? Where is AAC+ support? Etc, etc. New music store features?? Woohoo! Before I install this I'm going to read the license carefully to see if they are adding any new restrictions on use of purchased iTMS tracks. I, for one, even though a long-time Apple fan and avid iPod mini owner, hope Apple's iPod and music download marketshare plummets some time very soon - that may be the only thing that gets them going.

Disappointing - clvrmnky

Gapless playback will happen when we stop depending on block-oriented compression algorithms.

It's the format of the file, not the application.

I've heard that claim before, but it's bogus. My PalmOne Zire72 does gapless MP3 playback beautifully via Aeroplayer. If a Zire72 can do it, surely iTunes and the iPod can.
