Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

This has been one of my favourite programs.
I have used it many times and never had a problem with it. Though it does take a fair amount of time to compile the info it needs on my 1Ghz TiPowerbook.

Highly recommend it for anyone that needs to make a cd to boot to in Panther.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work yet with Tiger. I thought I would experiment and see if I could create a boot cd with the updated TechTool Pro 4. Unfortunately.. no luck.
Oh well.

I still recommend this program to non Tiger users, and can't wait until there is an updated version of BootCD.

You don't need Tiger! - dontspammeplease

If you have a drive around that still boots into Panther, there's nothing stopping you from creating a Panther BootCD with the new TechTool and Diskwarrior and whatever else on it. It'll still work great for repairing Tiger-based systems.
