Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

Understandable that one product will not be all things to all people, but to criticize it because the developer does not respond to your suggestions or complaints or bug fixes does not necessarily make a product bad. Sure, this is not Microsoft or Apple, so we as users expect the developer to pay attention to us; but notice that this is essentially a one person show. There is an excellent on line discussion forum for the product that has helped me greatly with its use.

Having said that, if you are looking for software to track time and charges to multiple clients at varying rates, print invoices and have options for different summaries of your work, then iBiz does it at a reasonable price. Invoices can be customized, although not necessarily in a completely intuitive way (i.e., read the documentation, browse the support forum). Stability is important where finances are involved and I have found iBiz to be extremely reliable.

Uh...actually, when update after update fails to fix well-documented bugs, that DOES make the product bad. None of my complaints have anything to do with features I've asked for not being implemented. I just want the product to actually work properly, and it still doesn't. I've spent long periods of time testing, tracking down, and reporting bugs, and nothing ever gets done about them.

This program crashes on me more often than any other software I've used in the past few years, and I've lost far too much data about time I've spent working on projects. If you think it's reliable you just haven't been using it very long. Wait and see.
