needs an update?

This doesn't seem to work with the latest iTunes. I used to manually go to the temp folder to get the files, but after I updated iTunes and QT, I can no longer find the file. I decided to give this app a try and it seems to have the same problem I am (i.e. not able to find the temp file). The only problem I have with this app is that it doesn't allow you to set where you want the files to show up. I hate getting the files on my desktop b/c I use FileVault.

Same here. Using QT 7 Pro and iTunes 4.8 and I can't find the file (either manually or using this app).

The reason this programme and others like it are no longer working is that they are searching the cache for the .mov download. Unfortunately, QuickTime 7 now downloads these files with a .qtch suffix. These seem to be completely different file formats and won't open in QuickTime. You can search the cache manually for this file but you won't be able to do much with it. Of course Apple never mentioned plugging this hole, and I am also waiting (and hoping) for a workaround. Those of you still using QuickTime 6 should still be able to copy the movie files from cache (though as a QT7 prisoner I can't confirm this).

QT7 has broken a lot of things, not just this app. Don't you just love "improvements" like that? ;-/
