I guess this works on cheap speakers, but on my Cambridge Soundworks speakers this brings the music down a notch. I see what it is trying to do, but when it changes the sound of songs (on good speakers) it is mudding up the sound. Also, this plugin is a MAJOR processor hog. On my dual 1.8 G5 it consumed from 25 to 45% of the processor while idle.

I found out why you are getting such bad peformance because you're inside of an About dialog box, which uses high frame rate animation. If you switch away from it into other view, the processor usage will drop to 12%.Dmitry
