Before you plunk down your hard-earned money on this product, before you even TALK about price, be absolutely sure that it will do what they want you to believe it will.
For instance, they claim to translate MS Works for Windows 2.0, 3.0, 4.5, 95 documents. Goody. What they don't tell you is that they do NOT support newer Works versions. 5? 6? 7? Nope.
I am giving this program one star out of five, because it opens about one document out of five which I attempt to translate using it.

RTFM is little help when at best many file you run into have a three letter extension. How are you supposed to know that .doc is not a format this program supports? Also OpenOffice will open more formats than this will and is free.Tuesday, March 07 2006 @ 04:18 PM PST

Open Office does not open a lot of formats that MacLink Plus does. MacLink Plus opens more than MS Office-type formats. Some people seem to think that Office is the only thing out there.Friday, June 30 2006 @ 09:39 PM PDT

Uh, if they don't say that it WILL translate a particular format, you should assume that it WON'T. You're complaining because it won't translate a format that they don't claim that it will. Very strange logic. As a famous person once say, RTFM.Reply to This
