I have Stuffit Deluxe 9.0.1 installed (1.25 GHz G4 DP, 10.4.0) the 9.0.2 updater reports that the installation failed because it could not find an installed copy of Stuffit 9.0.1! Anyone knows of a solutions? 9.0.1 works OK so I'm not desperate.

I'm having the same problem. I have 9.0.1 (verified by Get Info), but the updater will not recognize it. Does it need to be in a specifiic folder location?Wednesday, May 04 2005 @ 09:46 AM PDT

I got it to complete by deleting a folder called "Stuffit Standard 9.0". But like the other comments, I see no difference in the get Info. I think the updater readme could be more specific and say the version information is not updated.Wednesday, May 04 2005 @ 10:09 AM PDT
Upadter fails - MacForms
Make certain your previous Stuffit has not been renamed in any manner.Some updaters will not locate renamed applications
