I have seventeen separate drives attached to my G5, while trying to sort through 21 years of archived Mac files, including three drives that were totally D.O.A. No other software could even find the three drives. Drive Genius fixed two of them and I am not giving up on the third. Another pleasant surprise is how fast Drive Genius works. It's one of my top ten programs now and the absolute top program when the fur hits the fan and a drive won't come up. I've been running it with Tiger for a bit over a month and it's been totally stable, never crashing once.

Fixes what others can't even see. - Prosoft
Trance, I'm not sure what axe you have to grind against us here at Prosoft, but Storm Jenkins is indeed a real customer. I know you think that Prosoft products are all horrible and anyone that says anything good about Prosoft must be paid off by us or an employee.. That is just not the case.. Take a look at our awards from major magazines as well as our hall of fame and testimonies on our site.. They are all real..Wednesday, May 04 2005 @ 11:57 AM PDT

On the contrary, I don't have any opinion about your products as I've never tried them, and never have claimed to, or said anything bad about them.I just have a problem with what I take as false advertising (I may be wrong but I doubt it) with glowing reviews for your products that have strikingly similar grammatical styles, and all seem to be written by people who have never before or since written another single review for any other product on VT.
(Some of these reviews have mysteriously disappeared after my previous comments).

good to hear - Prosoft
Go to hear you're just looking out for bogus posts, but you are jumping to conclusions.. Storm Jenkins does exist.. He's even been nice enough to post a testimony on our site.. He's a photographer from the LA area (google the name for his site)-- He's for real--Wednesday, May 04 2005 @ 02:28 PM PDT

i'm sorry, but did you just disclosed confidential customer information?i do believe prosoft make very good data recovery products. in fact, better than the "popular" names for the mac because i have used one of them at work. but do you have a habit of giving out private customer information?

re: good to hear - Atraeda
I believe Trance indicated Storm's name first - anybody can do a Google search - Prosoft appears to be making genuine effort to stand up to someone who appears to not be familiar with Prosoft's products, focusing instead upon transliteral interpretation of Version Tracker comments, a place where software is reviewed. Trance's comments would be more valid to me if he/she had used the product, and included a product review as a primary report with comments analysis as an ancillary adjunct. Then, yes, I would place more value on what Trance states, as there are plenty of spoof comments out there. I've used Prosoft's data recovery line of products over the past couple years with my own operations and Clients, and, they've worked. Thanks.Sunday, May 29 2005 @ 05:13 PM PDT
