this is wonderful for readability, as it maximizes the aspect ratios of standard computer resolutions. smooth scrolling to the columns is very, very nice. the perfect thing for reading long, dry, military reports converted to text by Italian bloggers.

sugestions:

• a problem: an opened document will have part of the first and second columns blank. select all or a window refresh will fix it
• let me print (and hence save to PDF) by selecting fixed numbers of columns (and rows?) per page.
• make a browser that lets me view a page in columns (that might be asking too much)
