Tiger trouble!

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: RufusB Monday, May 02 2005 @ 02:20 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

Cabos 0.3.3 has been working excellently on OSX 10.3.9 but I have recently installed Tiger and none of the versions function. It appears in the menu bar briefly and then fails. Has anyone encountered similar probs?

Have you tried prebinding?

In Terminal, type commend:
sudo update_prebinding -root /

I installed Tiger before I ever used Cabos, and it works excellently for me.

I've heard of similar problems with other software when people update to Tiger - it seems to depend on the type of install of Tiger you choose to do. I suspect if you installed Tiger on a new partition (rather than update from 10.3) then many of these problems wouldn't exist.

Sorry - that's not much help, is it?
